Extend Robotics is looking for a Full-stack Engineer to join our team in the Reading area, UK.
About the job:
You will be working closely with the R&D and product teams, to deliver next generation cloud streaming infrastructure for remote robotic applications.
▪ Develop and optimise remote access and real-time streaming capabilities between robots and user interface software for fleet management and operator collaborations.
▪ Develop and maintain a cloud based, Typescript implemented, NAT traversal solution for client and servers.
▪ Hands-on development of data management and cyber security infrastructure scalable to millions of users.
▪ Work with the product team to integrate cutting edge networking technology into flagship products.
▪ Contribute to the product roadmap, technology plan and project proposals.
About the candidate:
▪ Expert experience in mainstream backend cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Unity backend tools.
▪ Expert experience in gaming and robotics client application platforms such as Unity and Robot Operation System.
▪ In Depth experience with state-of-the-art cloud based real-time streaming architecture, such as WebRTC, ICE, etc.
▪ Experience with STUN and TURN servers is a bonus.
▪ In Depth experience with state-of-the-art cybersecurity and data management technologies.
▪ Experience with video codecs and robotic applications is a big plus.
▪ Ability to challenge status quo and think out of the box.
▪ Good written and verbal communication skills with team members
